I oversee the growth of our commercial and domestic work across Hull and East Yorkshire and direct all major spending, profit share and shareholder decisions alongside Adam Drinkall (Operations Director). I support operational delivery by strengthening our team capacity and improving day-to-day processes, with a clear goal to drive sustainable profit and build Smart Power into a scalable, long-term family business.

I keep the wheels turning at Smart Power, a growing electrical business built on a strong foundation of hard work, honest conversations, and clear priorities.While my title says “Office Manager,” in practice, I’m responsible for managing the business – from finance and HR to customer relationships and operational efficiency. I make sure the machine runs smoothly so our engineers can focus on delivering quality work and our clients get the best service possible.We’re in a phase of pushing for growth because standing still isn’t an option. Growth comes from being sharp on efficiency, consistent in customer care, and clear about where we excel – and where we can do better.Personally, I value transparency and a no-nonsense approach. I’m someone who’s happy to share wins, losses, and the learning that comes from both – whether internally or with others in business. This role has also allowed me the flexibility to balance my professional and family life in a way I hadn’t experienced before, and I’m driven to help Smart Power succeed while keeping that balance intact.
