Prior to joining City and County of Denver, I was Environmental Sustainability Director at Mercy Housing, America’s largest affordable housing nonprofit. My past work experience also includes being named the youngest Product Portfolio Manager at Fortune 500 electric and gas utility Xcel Energy, managing multiple renewable energy, energy efficiency, and demand response programs. A self-described energy, electrification, and environmental policy wonk, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Denver.

As Denver\'s Building Electrification Administrator, I manage building electrification programs for Colorado\'s largest city. I administer incentive programs and ensure that incentives paired with the Energize Denver ordinance and Denver Energy Code requirements are driving high rates of building electrification, with a strong focus on equity and serving under-resourced residents and communities in the Mile High City. I also supervise multiple third-party program implementers. I identify, build, and maintain working relationships with other city agencies, external partners, and key trade associations. In addition, I analyze implications of state and federal legislation on Denver\'s building electrification implementation plan, and advocate for equitable and just building electrification policy at the Colorado Public Utilities Commission.In 2023, I successfully launched Denver\'s $25 million heat pump rebate program.
