Sambit is Vice President, Human Resource for India operations for a Energy Major headquartered in Spain. The company is one of the World leader\'s in Renewable Energy. He overseas HCM operations for the company in India spread across various locations.Prior to Siemens Gamesa, India Sambit was Sr.GM & Head HR (Vertical, Global) for Suzlon Energy.Responsibilities included HR, IR for location sites spread across India, China, Europe, US and in Mfg, R&D, Services. Till he joined Suzlon Energy, Sambit was HR leader for South Asia for Invitrogen, India (part of Invitrogen Corp –now Life Technologies).He has built the South Asia operations from ground up having set up R&D, Sales & Mktg, Tech Support and Mfg organization. He has so far worked with some of the top brand companies in HR leadership roles and been a part of the Sr. Mgt TeamsIn addition to this, Sambit has worked on a diverse set of assignments with Nicholas Piramal, Arvind Mills, Ranbaxy Labs Understanding how the business works is my primary area of interest, evolving business owned HR practices is a close second.
