My responsibilities as a Software System Senior Principal Engineer include:1. Responsible as QA lead for the Dell JetPack releases. Validation includes testing of core OpenStack features, network edge features like DCN and validation of telco features like SR-IOV, OVS-DPDK on OpenStack.2. Responsible for Customer Engagements through proofs of concepts, Networking lab tours and collateral development etc (Reference Architectures, Deployment Guides, App Notes and Best Practices). Created documentation for Dell Networking solutions for new technical features like OpenFlow, VRF BGP Lite, Ansible etc.3. Lead Open Stack validation. Create test cases, test plans for NFV features like NUMA, HUGEPages, neutron enabled SR-IOV, OVS-DPDK etc.4. Validate OpenFlow in Dell switches and check the interoperability with different controllers like RYU, Open Day Light etc.5. Contribute towards developing technical content and provide network training\'s (including lab) for different teams (including server and storage) based on their requirements and work with Dell training team to create Networking CBTs.6. Leading automation team to develop iTest scripts for new L2/L3/ Storage features.7. Lead Software Release inter-op testing projects and prepare project plans, schedules, test cases. Execution of automation / manual testing of Dell switches with data center protocols features like ISCSI, FC and FCOE against inter-op switches like Cisco, Juniper, Power Connect, Force10.9. Testing of Dell switches with L2 / L3 protocols like STP,RSTP,MSTP,PVSTP, VLAN, LACP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, VRRP, VLT, MPLS etc. Validate different networking SWs like Cumulus, BigSwitch etc on Dell EMC Networking switches.
