About Sam Goodman
I’m a mission-driven professional with 10+ years of experience spanning nonprofit fundraising, educational advancement, and corporate social responsibility. My work has always centered on using data, storytelling, and strategic engagement to drive meaningful impact.Beginning in higher education and philanthropy, I focused on building cross-cultural partnerships, stewarding donor relationships, and advancing educational initiatives. I led engagement strategies, secured one-time and major gifts, and developed donor storytelling campaigns. My graduate research in public relations, CSR, and ESG deepened my interest in how the private sector intersects with social issues. Now in corporate citizenship at TD Bank, I’ve continued that trajectory - first managing national volunteer engagement for colleagues, and now building centralized social impact reporting across corporate giving and colleague engagement. I specialize in streamlining data systems, improving governance and transparency, and aligning reporting with CRA and sustainability goals. I lead volunteer grant administration, monthly reporting for the TD Charitable Foundation, and cross-border collaboration with Canadian teams. My passion lies at the intersection of data, impact, and equity - ensuring programs not only run smoothly, but reflect and serve the communities they’re meant to support.
