ABOUT SAM BALLIN
I am an Associate in the Pinsent Masons Litigation team and advise professional athletes, football clubs (in both the Premier League and EFL) and regulators of football, tennis and rugby. I have acted for Premier League clubs in high profile, important proceedings which have garnered significant press attention including acting in a case that has been labelled the “sports trial of the century” by mainstream media.I have a wide range of experience in commercial and corporate disputes, and in particular with breach of contract claims for both Claimants and Defendants, shareholder and director disputes, and professional negligence matters.I also have expertise in crypto-litigation, having obtained Disclosure Orders and Worldwide Freezing Injunctions in order to recover lost cryptoassets.I am a member of the Disciplinary Panel for Cheshire FA and Pro Bono Panel for Sport Resolutions.
