I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a pre-med track, majoring in Environmental Health Science, with the goal of attending medical school and becoming a physician. My interest in medicine stems from a deep curiosity about the human body, a love for science, and a genuine desire to help others through compassionate, evidence-based care.My academic journey has been enriched by both real-world clinical and teaching experiences. Working as a Pathology Lab Technician gave me valuable clinical skills and a deep understanding of diagnostic processes, which have informed my role as a Biology 101 Lab Teaching Apprentice, where I lead sessions and help students grasp complex biology concepts through hands-on learning. These experiences laid a strong foundation for my EMT certification, where I gained practical training in patient assessment and emergency care—further preparing me for a future in medicine.I approach my studies and experiences with dedication, resilience, and an eagerness to learn and grow. I am committed to expanding my clinical exposure through shadowing, research, and volunteer work, with the ultimate aim of contributing to advancements in patient care and public health.In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, spending quality time with friends and family, and remaining deeply committed to service through various volunteer opportunities.    In my role as a CPR instructor I work with fellow students to teach CPR to students and faculty on UNC Campus- Help maintain UNC as a HeartSafe campus - Prepare members of the UNC community on how to properly administer aid in emergency situations.
