ABOUT SAMARTH VENKATA MENTA
I am a recent graduate from Duke University with a degree in Public Policy and minors in Biology and Chemistry. My research interests come at the intersection of these two paths, as I seek to learn and delve into different areas of health policy. Currently, I am working as a research coordinator under Dr. Anil Ranawat to further the existing knowledge and understanding of different Orthopaedic procedures and innovative treatments in regard to hip and knee preservation. Passion, perseverance, and creativity are the values that I try to embody in my work and life. With these values combined with my innate desire to improve the health of humanity, I aspire to be a physician-leader who both practices clinically and optimizes healthcare through policy and innovation.
