About Samarth Shakya
While big data baffles most people, I spent more than 4 years learning how to harness its capabilities for various employers. As a big data developer, I oversee the proper operation of a business\'s technological infrastructure, comply with all applicable and current industry guidelines, and identify alternative solutions.I have got the exposure from an American company distributing pharmaceuticals and providing heath information technology. Involved in analysis of requirements and business rules based on given documentation and work closely with tech leads and Business analysts in understanding the current system.In the past, I have created a data-ingestion pipeline for various use cases from oracle and snowflake. Used Sqoop and SnowSQL scripts to ingest data from different RDBMS sources into Hadoop Cluster (HDFS) and created Hive tables, partitions, data loading into hive tables, etc. Decreased the run time of the jobs by performing performance tuning in the hive scripts.For workflow scheduling I have used Apache Oozie and Cron tab.Also I am having a past experience with GCP Services. Worked on developing a batch and streaming processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform and Managed GCP and Azure clusters as well as I am Mentoring a Big-data Group of 10 people.Automated various processes using Python programming Language. Developed a workflow to run SQL scripts in a particular sequence on one click.My passion to technology drags me to work on Sharepoint Site Development in my free time.Developed a Blogging Platform on Sharepoint with the use of various Power Apps and Power Automate Flows.
