As a Regional Information Management Specialist, I support the Southern Region by shaping how information is governed, protected, and used to enable effective decision-making and service delivery. I provide strategic leadership in information and data management, bridging business needs with modern digital systems and tools.In this role, I lead regional information management planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, legislation, and corporate policies. I work closely with senior leadership, regional programs, and cross-ministry partners to modernize practices, improve data accessibility, and strengthen information governance.Key contributions include- Leading regional information management strategies and initiatives aligned with OPS and ministry-wide standards- Modernizing information systems and business processes to improve how data is collected, stored, accessed, and secured- Providing expert advice, training, and guidance on information management policies, digital tools, and best practices- Driving process improvement through automation and collaboration tools, including SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Automate)- Conducting systems analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation- Supporting projects that enhance data quality, compliance, and user experience across programs- Acting as a trusted advisor to staff and management on information governance, digital transformation, and change adoption.This role allows me to lead without direct reports using influence, collaboration, and technical expertise to drive meaningful change, improve operational efficiency, and ensure information is treated as a strategic asset for both current and future needs.

I’m a Computer Science (Honours) graduate from Trent University with a specialization in Data Analytics.
