The Career Council is an Institute level faculty-student body under the aegis of the Student Counselling Services (SAKHA), IIT BHU (Varanasi). It consists of 15+ students primarily focused on the holistic development of students on campus. We are guided by our Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Vinod Tiwari (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering). We aim to provide step-by-step guidance for various career profiles, help you pick the profile you are interested in, and create a holy environment on our campus that enables every student to explore all suitable career paths. Everyone desires to possess knowledge of their interests and turn them into viable career options; each individual is unique and excels in specific fields. We assist in discovering those passions or building upon them. Major Flagship Initiatives: • Encore: A series of guidance sessions by alumni for II-year students with the goal of assisting them in making informed decisions between pursuing a core or non-core career path. • Career Bootcamp: We aim to emphasize the significance of balancing academic pursuits with personal growth, ensuring a smoother college experience for students. So, we conduct Career Bootcamp to provide our student guides with a head start in exploring various domains. • Acing Internships: Acing internships is a recurring project to assist pre-final year students in improving their internship preparation. They are guided via several sessions by our seniors who have completed internships in various fields. • Acing Placement: Acing Placements is a recurring initiative with the goal of assisting people in enhancing their placement preparation. Our seniors who were successful in landing these jobs and are now working at renowned firms will answer their queries, assuage their fears, and offer their views on this community-driven platform.
