Orchestrated an innovative Kafka framework that ingested over 10 million customer utility data events monthly, ensuring seamless storage in both Cassandra and CockroachDB environments to enhance operational efficiency.• Established and managed a comprehensive automation test suite using Cucumber, ensuring every component of the Kafka-based framework was validated, leading to a 30% reduction in post-deployment issues.• Created a reactive AWS S3 framework that is used to seed customer utility data from the SOR’s S3 bucket by using Java, Spring and AWS SDK to read files containing data and store it into our databases using SQL, as well as optimizing the framework to achieve an ingestion rate of 35 million rows per hour. • Implemented a reactive programming based framework for data reconciliation that validated each Kafka event against local databases and SOR API responses in order to ensure consistency and accuracy of our data.
