Development Engineer – Suspension, Brake Components, and Import ActivitiesComponent Development:Lead the development of suspension systems, including shock absorbers and semi-active dampers, ensuring optimal performance and durability.Design and optimize engine mounting brackets (EPT mount brackets) for enhanced vibration isolation and structural integrity.Collaborate on the development of Wheel Speed Sensors (WSS) to ensure compatibility with advanced braking and stability systems.Oversee procurement of brake Bundy tubes for reliable and efficient braking system performance.Import Activities:Coordinate import procurement activities for critical components such as semi-active dampers, shock absorbers, and other key automotive parts.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and manage vendor relationships for timely and cost-effective sourcing.Project Management:Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of developed components into vehicle platforms.Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for any issues arising during the development or validation phases.Documentation & Reporting:Prepare detailed technical reports, including design reviews, test outcomes, and supplier evaluations.Maintain comprehensive records for project milestones and import activities to ensure audit readiness.Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of automotive suspension systems, braking components, and material specifications.Expertise in handling international procurement processes and supplier management.Familiarity with vehicle dynamics, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) analysis, and regulatory compliance standards.Key Deliverables:High-performance, reliable, and cost-efficient suspension and braking components.Timely and compliant procurement of imported components.Successful integration of developed components into the automotive platform.
