ABOUT SAMARI SPRINGS
J.D. candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, pursuing a career in commercial, business, or administrative litigation. This fall, I will join the UM Law Investor Rights Clinic, where I will represent clients in securities arbitration and disputes involving financial misconduct. I recently served as a Law Clerk for the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, supporting high-level congressional investigations, drafting legal memoranda and executive correspondence, and contributing to reports intended for public release and legislative debate. I’ve also worked in plaintiff-side employment litigation, assisting with trial preparation, case strategy, and complex discovery. Previously, I gained public-sector experience as a Legal Extern with the City of Miami Beach, where I worked on matters involving contracts, municipal governance, and regulatory compliance. A former Division I football player, I bring discipline, grit, and a strategic mindset to the practice of law. Outside of work, I enjoy football mentoring and coaching, legal thrillers, traveling, working out, and meditation.
