About Samara Tauber
Lean Six Sigma is a highly regarded and necessary tool for strategically aligning any company for efficiency, growth, increasing revenue and fostering team organization; ultimately resulting in, ridding waste. Many processes are used throughout every department of a corporation. It is essential to identify, through team cooperation and communication, what problems have arisen and how to resolve them in a lean manner, implementing long-term solutions. Samara Tauber is a bottom line, solutions driven person. In the past decade, Ms.Tauber has eliminated more than $100 million in hard and soft cost-savings. Conducting a thorough manpower analysis of an organization yields streamlined operational expenditures while identifying systems and manufacturing inefficiencies. In order to become a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Ms. Tauber was able to walk into a corporation with more than employees to improve process inefficiencies using fishbone diagrams (what happened and why); value stream mapping (VSM); Kaizen events; and ultimately, using an implementation strategy. Based on a time and sales case study, she was able to analyze a trending problem within the proprietary software program. This software program recommended a best scenario for the company\'s customer. Many times the customer base was not satisfied with this best case scenario, and the staff was not trained to offer an alternative solution. The customers were immediately turned off, costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost sales and transactions. With a training program implemented, Samara created a solution that supported the proprietary software, but integrated a hands-on approach with the staff and the customer, closing the sale afterwards 90% of the time. It is one thing to understand key process indicators (KPI’s), but it is another thing to understand how to achieve success as a group, around the obstacles. This is what Ms. Tauber excels at.
