My journey into online selling began back in 2014 when I started making certificates and badges to sell on eBay. Honestly, they were rubbish! But we all start somewhere, right? It was a learning process, and with each misstep, I got a little closer to finding my groove.The real game-changer came when I got fed up with waiting in line at the post office. Standing there with a stack of orders, I’d always get the eye-roll from the counter staff, as if I was somehow inconveniencing them by actually posting things. That frustration led me to make the switch from eBay’s self-fulfillment to Amazon FBA, where the system does all the hard work for me. It was a life-saver, and I never looked back.Today, I run a 7-figure Amazon business and help others do the same through Kickstarter Academy. It’s not about flashy promises or empty advice. It\'s about rolling up your sleeves and following a no-nonsense, proven strategy—just like I did, from my kitchen table to where I am now.In everything I do, I try to lead by example. My faith and values play a huge role in how I run my business. Taqwa (God-consciousness), honesty, and good old-fashioned customer service are fundamental Islamic principles, and I apply them in my Kickstarter programme. It’s about doing right by your customers, being transparent in your dealings, and showing integrity every step of the way. As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.” That’s the humble impact I want to make.

I’m Samara Michael. I’m a faith driven founder, cappuccino enthusiast, and unapologetic Man City fan. According to a close friend I’m the “Porsche with no brakes.” I’m still not entirely convinced that’s a compliment. I’d prefer to think of it as someone who tends to get things moving… sometimes a little faster than expected.My work sits at the intersection of property, housing services, bid writing, and persuasive communication.My background includes housing support, tenancy management, and service leadership, alongside building and managing property ventures. I focus on bid writing, copywriting, and project development, helping organisations and founders turn ideas into clear proposals, compelling messaging, and practical housing projects.I also run Lake House, a manor property in Huddersfield used for retreats, events, and creative work. Property has always been more than bricks and mortar to me. Done well, it creates stability, opportunity, and spaces where people can think clearly and build something meaningful.Earlier in my career I founded and scaled a national coaching programme supporting more than entrepreneurs, helping them generate over £7M in e commerce sales through strategy, systems, and clear messaging. That experience shaped how I approach everything today. Whether it is a business, a property project, or a funding proposal, the principles are similar.
