ABOUT SAMAR DEVRAJ

Hi! I\'m Samar (he/him), a UBC Sauder ‘24 Marketing graduate with a concentration in Sustainability and Social Impact. I chose this path from lived experience; growing up in Mumbai, I saw how deeply income inequality affects the health and safety of our people and the planet. That stuck with me, and still drives me today, shaping my commitment to work that creates real, measurable impact. Over the past five years, I’ve built experiences in marketing, operations, partnerships, content strategy, and stakeholder engagement across organizations that prioritize sustainability, equity, and community impact. In addition, I was honoured to be named the Commerce Undergraduate Society’s “Sustainability Champion,” and have also served as a speaker, panelist, mentor and judge for several student-led case competitions and conferences that challenge us to rethink the way businesses can help people and planetPeople often describe me as a curious, social, hard-working and detail-oriented person who wants to help solve complex problems with both heart and strategy.
