ABOUT SAMANTHA WENZEL-SANCHEZ

I’m an equity-centered program and student support professional with a heart for first-generation and historically underserved students. Whether I’m building community partnerships, designing culturally responsive workshops, or advising students through major academic milestones, I lead with empathy, intention, and the unwavering belief that every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve worked across college access, youth development, and education nonprofits — supporting students from high school into college and beyond. I bring a deep understanding of student development, relationship-centered advising, and data-informed decision-making. I’ve coordinated large-scale events, facilitated academic readiness programming, and built partnerships with schools and local organizations to expand access and opportunity. I thrive in roles that let me be both strategic and human — the person who can read the room, run the report, and rally the team. If the work is rooted in purpose and people, I’m all in.
