About Samantha Schafer
I am a 2017 graduate from Villanova University with a Bachelor\'s degree in chemical engineering who after 2.5 years in the food industry took a pivot and became a psychiatric nurse. With a Master\'s in Nursing from DePaul University, I have worked since 2021 as an inpatient psychiatric nurse. I am currently pursuing my Post Master\'s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree with an expected graduation date of August 2025. My engineering and healthcare background, along with my service opportunities, give me the ability to think critically, work in a team, and as an individual. I am passionate about mental health, LGBTQ+ rights and delivering quality behavioral health care to others.
