Interim Disability Ministry Coordinator @Good Shepherd Church - Naperville
As we are searching for our next full-time Disability Minister at Good Shepherd, I have stepped onto staff to ensure our Fusion Ministry continues to thrive. We continue to provide: •monthly respite opportunities for families•full-engagement within each of our ministries•addressing sensory needs•joining and partnering with our surrounding community to support individuals with disabilities, their businesses and organizations, and businesses and organizations that support them and their loved ones. My personal goals during this time is to provide:•pastoral care•spiritual formation and direction •train our staff and leadership in understanding and advocacy•assess further adaptive opportunities, and advocacyMost importantly, I am in this position to learn and love all people in the name of Jesus Christ. It is a blessing to be able to help bridge this gap between our previous Disability Ministers departure and our future Disability Ministers arrival. I continue to be in prayer for our pastors and leadership as they discern during the hiring process, celebrate our previous Disability Ministers new adventure and our future Disability Ministers navigation and hopefully soon arrival.
