About Samantha Kinder
I graduated summa cum laude from Scripps College with a BA in psychology where I developed a passion for research and mental health advocacy. While there, I served as a research assistant in the Applied Mind and Health Lab, the president of the Claremont Gerontology Association, on the leadership committee for Scripps College’s Psi Chi Honor Society, and a volunteer with Scripps Advocates for Survivors of Sexual Assault. Currently, I research healthy aging at UCLA’s Semel Institute, focusing on MRI and cognitive data collection as part of the Adult Aging Brain Connectome Study. In my free time, I enjoy playing the cello and piano, and spending time hiking, biking, or skiing in the mountains.
