I bring an extensive knowledge of bankruptcy law to serve business and individual clients in all stages of restructuring proceedings.After earning a J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law (cum laude), I became licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, and I am pending licensure in Utah. My professional path has included service as a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah, as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Earlier roles as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Trustee Program (Bankruptcy Division, U.S. Department of Justice) and as an Attorney Editor for Westlaw provided foundational experience in litigation, legal research, analysis, and writing.This background developed into more than six years of experience in bankruptcy law, complemented by broad exposure to business and commercial litigation. Skills include motion practice, discovery, issue spotting, and drafting, along with strong familiarity with PACER, Microsoft Office, and legal database tools. Leadership and mentorship are also central to my professional approach, as reflected in ongoing roles with the American Bar Association Judicial Internship Opportunity Program and the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion.Outside the office, my balance comes through kayaking during the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. I share my home with my partner and our two cats, where quiet moments are just as meaningful as the challenges and rewards of legal practice.
