I am the Middle School Learning Resources Coordinator and 6th Grade Foundations teacher at The Northwest School. I support students with learning disabilities by creating Learning Support Plans (individualized academic accommodations, similar to 504 Plans and IEPs in Seattle Public Schools) that best reflect a student\'s learning needs given his/her/their diagnosis, learning style, and personal and cultural considerations. My work is done in collaboration with Northwest\'s Middle School Student Support Team, teachers, advisors, and families.
