ABOUT SAMANTHA JAYNE CLIFTON

I am a passionate technical thought leader who brings order from chaos and loves inspiring others to achieve their goals. Geographical Information Science will always be a core of my knowledge and passion, it is however not the extent. My management style is to lead out front, leading by example and being passionate to share and develop others into high performing teams.Here at Alteryx, I am working with more customers world wide to implement and experience the power of Alteryx for themselves. I love to inspire others on how much they can achieve with the Alteryx platform. Expanding my knowledge of the platform with an aim to be an internal expert. I am also learning Python again with an aim to apply this to both my professional career and academic endeavours.During my time at Avon, I developed their strategy and built to data innovation team to maximise the use of their technology and data. Building relationships between Global Data, Local IT teams and the business, taking business requirements and turning them around at pace using the right tools for the job. Creating stability and vision for the direction of the business data for initially the UK market but was soon given the given Western Europe to manage. Avon was my second successful implementation of Alteryx.At Sainsbury\'s, my time was spent maximising the use of spatial analytics, automation, and databases. Sainsbury\'s is a fantastic place to work, and I certainly enjoyed my years developing under their leadership and even learned a lot about myself and my personal goals. Sainsbury\'s was where I first applied Alteryx to an organisation and was able to implement the technology, drive its adoption and move onto a new project with it continuing to be successful.In 2019 I achieved a fantastic status from Libby Duane Adams at Alteryx when I was welcomed into the Alteryx ACE programme. I earned this status through coaching and mentoring others, this is a worldwide recognised subject matter expert status within an organisation and a much sought-after position. One of fifty in the world.I am a Chartered Geographer and work to keep my accreditation, through continued professional development and would love to maximise my knowledge of this within any organisation.
