ABOUT SAMANTHA DEMUESY
This past summer, I interned at GE Aerospace as part of the Financial Management Program (FMP), where I gained hands-on experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and improving operational efficiency. My path toward a career in finance has been shaped by a range of formative experiences. I previously interned at Advise Financial Solutions and worked at Firestone Country Club, where I developed strong interpersonal and customer service skills while engaging with high-profile clients. These roles taught me the value of relationship-building and delivering excellence—skills that I brought with me to GE Aerospace. Beyond work, I’m passionate about golf, a sport that has instilled in me discipline, perseverance, and leadership. At Miami University, I founded the Women’s Club Golf Team to create opportunities for female golfers to compete and thrive in a traditionally male-dominated space. This initiative strengthened my leadership and teamwork abilities—traits that continue to influence my approach both professionally and personally.
