About Samantha Winkle
No one grows up thinking that they are going into \"Garbage\" as a career.you just end up in the industry. Through solid waste we learn so much about use, abuse, recovery, regeneration and the life cycles of everything. In my career I have also learned to follow my passions. compost will always have my heart, however, in 15 plus years in the industry I have also learned that recognizing folks and meeting them where they are to help them succeed is very important to me.I have been fortunate enough to lead people in several facets in the industry. I started in compost and evolved into transfer station operations, drop box facilities and landfill operations. All of the operations constantly teach you skills and allow you to continually learn as regulations change and the waste stream evolves with society.
