Samantha “Sam” Thompson is Vice President, Customer Success and Fleet Telematics for Penske Transportation Solutions, an $11 billion leading global transportation services provider operating Penske Truck Leasing, Penske Logistics, Epes Transport Systems and Penske Vehicle Services.Thompson leads several teams all dedicated to helping our customers get the most out of their fleet technology. From advising and guiding customers on the adoption and use of transportation technology, including the Penske digital experience, to ensuring our fleet is utilizing telematics to keep our business moving forward and everything in between.Before assuming this role, Thompson held roles with Penske as Director, Customer Success; Manager, Fleet Telematics and Customer Success; and Marketing Support Specialist where she supported telematics consulting and Fleet Insight, a customer fleet management tool. Thompson was also a Rental Clerk in the company’s reservations call center. Prior to joining Penske in 2012, she held various positions as a designer, artist, and instructor. Thompson earned a bachelor\'s degree in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Thompson earned certifications in service management and advanced service leadership. She also holds memberships in American Trucking Association (ATA), National Private Truck Council (NPTC), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), Customer Success Association (CSA), and the Reading Education Foundation.
