About Samantha Johnson
My research has focused on RNA biology in order to gain a deep understanding of RNA interference molecular mechanisms as well as exploring how oligonucleotides can be used to treat disease. My PhD work focused understanding the TNRC6 protein through a wide range of molecular assays, genomics, and proteomics. My postdoctoral work shifted to focus on small activating RNAs through imaging, cell culture, and molecular assays. I have also explored assay development within the genetic medicine in the critical area of endosomal escape.
