About Sam Schmitt
Sam Schmitt is motivated by the belief that equitable access to life-saving treatments can transform health outcomes worldwide. After earning dual degrees in Finance and Sociology from Penn State University, Sam joined Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital practice, where she spent four years supporting large-scale transformations for global life sciences clients. Her work spanned drug product launches, organizational change management, and enterprise-wide digital workplace initiatives.In 2025, Sam earned her MBA with High Distinction and a Healthcare Management concentration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Her MBA experience included leading a consulting project in India to improve ambulance efficiency across 12+ states, interning at DaVita on hospital engagement and growth strategy, and supporting an international healthcare supply chain conference in Nigeria.Outside of work, she loves traveling (28 countries and counting), cooking, baking sourdough bread, and cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions.
