About Samantha Ross
In 2021, I graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University, School of Media and Public Affairs with a major in Political Communications. After working full time in government affairs, I pivoted to sound engineering at American University in 2023 where I received my Masters in Audio Technology. From my experience at GWU and AU, I gained valuable skills in video and audio production, communications and public speaking. I have had the privilege of gaining first hand experience with numerous political and lobbying organizations, non-profits, recording studios, freelance live sound companies and music labels throughout my college and professional career. After 7 years in Washington DC, I have moved to NYC to work at Encore Global in their National College Leadership program where I will rotate through Technical, Sales and Operations trainings. I am excited to see where my time at Encore and NYC will take me!
