About Samantha Oteri
I’m originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, and currently living in Blacksburg, Virginia as a full-time student at Virginia Tech. I am a junior majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Design with a minor in Consumer Studies. My academic interests center around retail strategy, sustainability, consumer behavior, and the business side of fashion, and I am passionate about pursuing a career in merchandising and brand development. Beyond academics, I stay highly involved on campus. I serve on the executive board for Relay For Life as part of the Outreach Committee, helping strengthen community engagement and increase student involvement in fundraising efforts. I am also a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, where I hold the position of Administrative Vice President, supporting chapter operations, leadership development, and organization-wide communication. Overall, my time at Virginia Tech has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally, and I’m constantly motivated by opportunities that challenge me to lead, collaborate, and make a positive impact on the community around me.
