Our mission is to unlock the power of smart data for research that improves lives, and we’re achieving this by:Providing researchers with secure access to smart data via our data services 🤝Safeguarding public trust in smart data, and the research it enables 🧠Building capability and supporting skills for cutting-edge researchSupporting research that addresses social and economic challenges As Deputy Director, my role involves: • Overseeing day-to-day operational management and development of the programme • Positioning Smart Data Research UK as a world-leading programme for the creation, organisation and safe access to smart data • Improving the finability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability of smart data for research via our growing network of Digital Research Infrastructures• Building long-term strategic partnerships with data owners• Inclusive outreach that engages stakeholders and promotes Smart Data Research UK’s work to diverse audiences
