ABOUT SAMANTHA MARSH
Senior Producer in Game DevI am currently a producer for Frontier Developments where I work closely with project teams to organise, structure (and re-structure) and optimise workflows. I co-ordinate closely with multi-discipline teams across the entirety of a game project, working on feature, discipline and technical areas to ensure both quality and efficiency in delivery.Prior to this, I gained experience within the functionality and specialist Destructive QA teams, focusing on multiple projects and platforms (including PC and consoles) simultaneously. I have also participated in voice acting, have presented demos for Press and Influencers at both E3 and Gamescom on behalf of the company and have taken part in multiple livestreams- Director, actor trainerAs a director and actor trainer, I have been working on my craft for many years. I went on to study a joint BA undergraduate degree in Music and Drama at Royal Holloway, University of London where I received an upper 2:1 as my final mark. During this time, I directed an award-winning production of Harold Pinter’s “The Hothouse”. I achieved my MA degree with distinction at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I studied Actor Training and Coaching. During this time, I also presented a TEDx Talk in Video Game performance (motion capture, voice and facial work) and the story it can tell within the narrative of a game. This was also the focus of my main MA project.Composer/musicianAn experienced musician, I took a special study of composition as part of my joint degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, and have composed pieces for orchestras, voice, septets, solo instruments and other small ensembles. An original piece premiered at a London festival.As a performer, I play saxophone, where I received tuition at the Royal College of Music in London. I have played as part of bands and ensembles, as well as a solo performer.
