ABOUT SAMANTHA LEVIN
As a Health Education and Promotion Assistant at University of South Florida (USF), I work with professional staff and peer educators to create, implement, and evaluate both in-person and virtual health promotion content for the campus community. I also assist with social media posts and video content, manage the HEAT outreach calendar, and support alcohol and other drug prevention initiatives.I am pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on public health education and promotion at USF, after graduating from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2023. I also completed a study abroad program on Challenges in Global Health and Public Health in The Netherlands in 2022, where I gained valuable insights into global health issues and policies. My core competencies include teamwork, research skills, and public speaking, which I apply to my academic and professional projects. My goal is to enhance the health and well-being of the USF community and beyond, and to pursue a career in public health education and promotion that aligns with my values and passions.
