Aloha! I am a second-year undergraduate at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, originally from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. I am currently studying in Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) through the honors program and possess a significant passion for policy work and legislative change.Through my experiences in policy research, political discourse, and advocacy, I have gained invaluable insights into the complexities of public service while enhancing my skills of leadership, collaboration, and project management. Whether through volunteering, jobs, or internships, I have continually sought ways to learn, grow, and contribute to causes that matter including ones aiming to achieve social and educational equity. These experiences reinforce my dedication to creating systems that empower individuals and nourish communities.I plan to major in Public Policy and, after graduation, pursue a career in the non-profit sector, returning to Oahu.
