The SHANK2 Foundation brings together all individuals affected by SHANK2 variants–including carriers, families, researchers, clinicians, and industry partners. In this role, I will support research efforts to study the SHANK2 gene, develop treatments, and raise awareness for SHANK2 and related disorders, including Intellectual Disability (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

I have a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology. I am a dedicated and highly motivated genetics and neuroscience expert with a strong foundation and passion for project and program management. With a background in a variety of biological and biomedical sciences, I\'ve developed a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
