As an Associate Teacher for grades 3-5, I support students and teachers across 11 different classrooms, collaborating closely with each teacher to enhance student learning and engagement. I plan and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons and contribute to instruction across various subject areas, working with students in small groups or one-on-one as needed. I also oversee different parts of the school day, such as transitions and recess, to support students beyond the classroom. Additionally, I participate in ongoing professional development to refine my teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in education.
