ABOUT SAMANTHA GARRISON

Besides the smell of jet fuel in the morning, Samantha lives for the next challenge in strategic initiatives and process improvements. Whether it is finding gaps in communication or solving complex problems that relate to her role as The Wonderful Company’s Director of Flight Coordination she thrives on the opportunity to support her team and their goal to meet the organizational needs of more than 8 different business units and roughly potential passengers.While managing 8 planes with 20+ legs per day, Samantha sees communication as a tool for success. Her team’s motto is “Let’s Make It Happen” through a creative and collaborative problem-solving model.With her Master’s in Project Management, Certificate in Business Aviation Leadership from Georgia State University, Coach’s certificate in the Wonderful Company’s War on Waste, and her training in Situational Leadership, Samantha has created, implemented, and improved dozens of projects and processes including scheduling software, War on Waste projects, and the department’s communication plan.Samantha has more than 15 years of planning, fundraising and volunteer experience. She was an active member in the Civil Air Patrol for 5 years. During her time with Civil Air Patrol she held a variety of leadership positions at the Squadron level that assisted in doubling the membership and kickstarted their aerospace education program. Currently Samantha volunteers with Global Family, a nonprofit, that battles the ongoing issue of human trafficking on a global level. She oversees the organization of their annual fundraising gala that raises over per year towards their efforts.Away from the hangar, Samantha enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with family, off-roading in her Jeep, and ocean cruising.
