First point of contact for all HR queries, providing managers with professional HR advice and supporting with case HR which can include a variety of disciplines: sickness absence, performance, conduct and grievances. Produce follow up documentation where required.Responsible for policy development to ensure legislation and best practice is being followed, created policies from scratch and made the current group of HR policies more accessible for employees/managers.Support managers with creating job descriptions and personal specifications. Trained in job evaluations using the Hays method. Responsible for end to end recruitment and have streamlined current recruitment processes, support managers with interviews when needed. Successfully implemented new HRIS at V&A Dundee, this involved centralising all personal HR files, data migration and training employees and managers how to use the new system. Created guides for future reference for all users. The new HRIS has streamlined access to HR documentation, policies, holiday requests, authorisations and report building. Implemented eLearning platform for all employees to complete core annual training. Responsible for the design and delivery of training and development of initiatives. Oversee eLearning platform and ensure reports are produced on a regular basis so managers can see completed and outstanding status of employee training. Implemented onboarding and off boarding processes, use trackers to ensure all workflows are completed to successfully onboard/offboard employees. Advising managers with the induction of employees, volunteers and Freelancers. Currently finalising process for onboarding Freelancers in line with IR35.Responsible for the continuous improvement of HR processes, currently sitting on a variety of working groups within V&A Dundee providing advice for best practice these include: Future working practices, Equality Diversity and Inclusion, Staff Forum and H&S Committee.

A HR Advisor with experience in a variety of HR disciplines. I graduated from Abertay University with MSc International Human Resource Management in 2019, I am currently an Associate CIPD member and have completed my level 7 studies. I am incredibly driven to achieve the best for those around me and those working with me. I\'m not afraid to go out of my comfort zone and enjoy the ongoing challenges that HR brings. I am always looking for ways to develop my skills. I am a goal driven individual who can work well alone or as part of a team, I take pride in building strong relationships with individuals and aim to support in any way that I can.I was in a stand alone role at V&A Dundee for over two years before working closely with the Head of HR, this has been a brilliant opportunity for me to develop my skills and use my own initiative. I have been allowed to grow within my role and develop my creative and analytical thinking.
