ABOUT SAMANTHA BOGGIANO
I am a graduate student in Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University, passionate about advancing neuroscience and molecular biology through cutting-edge research. My work in the Donthamsetti Lab focuses on developing molecular tools to study neural signaling and receptor interactions, with applications in understanding complex behaviors and diseases. I bring extensive industry experience as a founding member of several therapeutic platform teams, where I contributed to assay development, high-throughput screening, and the creation of in vitro disease models for cancer, neurological, and muscle disorders using iPSC-derived systems and primary cultures.I have a strong foundation in mentoring, training, and leading teams, along with a proven record of data presentation, outreach, and DEI advocacy. My research has been presented at symposia and internal project meetings, and I have earned recognition for leadership and organizational management. I am excited about building collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches to address scientific questions, improve research tools, and enhance science communication.
