The Performance Excellence and Portfolio Management department is responsible for: Management of the MTech US project budget in the range of $60M OPEX & CAPEX on an annual basis encompassing ~75 projects in various stages of development and execution Execution of Cleaning, Filter, E&L and Shipping development and validation activities for US MTech sites Driving Performance Excellence and Change management - Responsible for leading and managing ~25 Deputy Directors/Managers plus contractors and other staff that are assigned within the function - Responsible for implementation and maintaining portfolio management governance processes. Deliver full project portfolio assigned to the US PEPM platform, supporting the US sites, tech transfers across sites, including R&D, VIA and IA sites. Challenge project leaders and platforms to level loading or phasing within the project portfolio, highlighting trends in over-or under-budget and on-time delivery of projects- Develop and implement systems to track overall progress of spending against project budgets and annual site budgets for project Operating Expense (OPEX) and Capital Expense (CAPEX) for both projects and the portfolio- Contribute to the site and global project prioritization for current year and strategic planning- Coach project sponsors, project leaders, project managers, project team members and others on requirements as required- Interfaces with procurement, legal and HR in the outsourcing and onboarding of contract staffing (contingent and/or managed services) on behalf of MTech- Interfaces with other project management departments on site and globally to work on continuous improvement and best practices initiatives.
