Serve as elected board of education member for Illinois’ second-largest elementary district, serving 11,500 students speaking over 80 languages. In this role, I partner with my fellow board members to help guide strategic governance, foster strong partnerships with the superintendent and leadership team, and ensure our board remains focused on student success, fiscal responsibility with our nearly $250M budget, and active community engagement.Elected in 2019 and 2023; Nominated as President in 2025.
