MicroLoan Foundation USA [https://lnkd.in/eBG9g-8], a non-profit that provides financial literacy training, business mentoring, digital financial solutions, and microlending to women entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2002, we’ve worked with over women, helping them start and grow small businesses. Working with MicroLoan Foundation USA is an incredibly inspiring and humbling experience. Most of the women we work with live on less than $2.50 / day – and almost half actually live on under $1.25 / day, the international extreme poverty line. Our average loan is ~$100 for a 4-month business loan – tiny in our terms, but it makes a real impact in their lives.
