Prison Books Collective is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that sends free books and resources to those incarcerated in NC and AL.I helped modernize PBC’s physical record-keeping system by roadmapping, developing, and iteratively releasing BellBooks, a cloud-native full-stack application. BellBooks helped PBC catch up from its 6 months+ backlog of unfulfilled requests by saving volunteers approximately 10 minutes per package created.
