Assisting with a cognitive-experimental research project investigating approach–avoidance biases and their relationship with emotion, building on work by Radke et al.(2014) and Rudaizky et al.(2020). The project examines whether individuals with varying levels of depression differ in specific components of action tendencies.Main Duties- Leading and coordinating participant study sessions from start to finish- Administering informed consent procedures and ensuring ethical compliance- Managing participant records, including ID tracking and participation purpose (credit/payment)- Providing clear instructions and guidance throughout experimental tasks- Monitoring participant engagement and responding to queries during sessions- Ensuring accurate data collection and documentation- Maintaining study organisation and adherence to research protocols.Skills: Experimental Research Methods, Participant Management and Communication, Ethical Research Practice and Data Handling, Attention to Detail and Record-keeping, Leadership and Session Facilitation, Professional Communication, Data Collection Procedures, Problem-solving in Live Research Settings, Organisation and Time Management, and Understanding of Cognitive and Behavioural Research Processes.
