As an Assistant Teacher, I play a key role in supporting the Lead Teacher and helping our students grow academically and socially. On a typical day, I assist in planning and delivering lessons, work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need extra help, and make sure the classroom runs smoothly.One of the best parts of the job is working directly with the kids-helping them when they\'re struggling with a subject or celebrating their successes. I get to know them individually, and it\'s really rewarding to see their progress. I\'m also responsible for supervising students during recess, transitions, or other activities, and helping maintain a positive, safe classroom environment. It\'s a team effort, and we\'re all here to support one another.Aside from working with the students, I help prepare materials for lessons and keep the classroom organized. I also assist in monitoring behavior and ensuring things stay on track during the day. There\'s some flexibility and variety here, and while I follow the Lead Teacher\'s direction, my input and ideas are valued.
