About Sameer Arora
I am currently a global director of ER & D services at HCLTech, leading multiple delivery units, responsible for all HCLTech services to Microsoft Windows, Devices, and Azure Hardware product groups. In this role, I head a team of 500+ Electrical, Mechanical, Silicon, Software & Firmware engineers, HW NPI Program Managers, Project Managers, and Test engineers, servicing the Microsoft product teams, bringing their product vision to reality. My team is cross-functional and multi-cultural, spread between 5 countries.Overall, I have over 2 decades of professional engineering service experience, over 10 yrs. of which is in leadership roles. As an engineering services portfolio Leader with a Technology (ER & D) company, my role focuses heavily on providing an effective interface between the customers and the delivery teams led by me, with strategy, business acquisition, talent acquisition, program delivery, profitability, and business continuity being the primary goals.Through my work at HCLTech, time and again, I have proven myself to be a trusted partner and collaborator working with international and multicultural clients, delivering complex hardware and software projects on time, and meeting budgets.
