ABOUT SAM WINCH
It was my first job as a manager of a football team, an Australian girls under 18\'s squad. A successful first season had come to an end and at the end of season presentation in 2009, I was taken to one side by a parent of one of the girls. We won the league, the cup and finally the state championship all in my first season. But it was the views of this particular parent that will stay with me for the rest of my coaching career. She told me;\"Sam, You took a bunch of girls, trained them, talked with them, listened and most of all showed them what real football is about, for as long as they play they will remember what you have taught them.\" And that right there, is why i continue to do what i do & be the best i can be!
