As Head of the Junior Academy at Lonestar Soccer Club, I oversee the vision, structure, and delivery of one of the largest and most comprehensive youth development programs in the United States. The Junior Academy serves more than 1,200 players and 120 coaches across 12 Central Texas locations, providing a consistent, high-quality environment for players ages 5–10 to develop a lifelong connection to the game.My role bridges strategic leadership with operational execution, building systems that support player growth, coach education, and program scalability. I work closely with site coordinators, coaching staff, and administrators to ensure that every player and family experiences a program built on excellence, communication, and community.Key responsibilities include:• Leading the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Junior Academy across all sites.• Designing and implementing age-appropriate development models aligned with the four pillars of player growth: technical, tactical, physical, and psychosocial.• Building and mentoring a large coaching network through education, feedback, and professional development initiatives.• Integrating data-driven tools and PlayMetrics systems to enhance team formation, evaluation, and communication.• Collaborating with club leadership to align the Junior Academy with Lonestar’s long-term player pathway and organizational mission.This role is about creating alignment between people, systems, and purpose to ensure that every young player, coach, and family experiences the very best of what youth soccer can be.
