ABOUT SAM TIRODKAR

I’m an energetic and adaptable leader with 25 years of experience delivering results across strategy, delivery, operations, architecture, data and infrastructure. I’m motivated by learning, stretching myself, and taking on diverse, challenging roles — a mindset that began in my IT consulting career with PwC and IBM, where I was selected for their Top Talent Programme in recognition of my performance and potential.Since joining Shell in 2009, I’ve built a reputation for taking on complex challenges and delivering results. My work has ranged from shaping enterprise strategy — including devising and presenting the Downstream Global Commercial IT strategy to the CEO — to driving the delivery of major transformation programmes. In my last role as Global Infrastructure Portfolio Manager, I was end to end accountable for Shell’s enterprise connectivity. Following the insourcing of services from AT & T, I successfully led a $50M, three year connectivity transformation programme, delivered on time, on budget, and exceeding expected business value outcomes. I am now Head of Information & Digital Technology for our Legal & Corporate Relations and enjoying the challenge of delivering AI transformation for these global businesses. I’m known for strong stakeholder engagement, collaborative leadership and a natural ability to build high performing, empowered teams. With experience leading communities of 150+ FTEs, I’m passionate about developing people, elevating culture, and creating environments where teams can thrive and deliver exceptional results.
